Division of Human Services

Weatherization Program

Basic weatherization services are offered to income eligible households. The Wisconsin Division of Energy contracts with the Ashland County Housing Authority to provide services to those households in need of basic weatherization services.

Services offered:

Home modifications for energy efficiency
Insulate where necessary
Health and safety inspections
Repair or replace appliances deemed necessary

Criteria:

Qualified for Wisconsin's Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) in current season
Homeowner and proof of home ownership
Income guidelines--must be an eligible recipient of WHEAP (Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program)
