Honoring Our Children (HOC)

This program seeks to increase the chances of infant survival and to promote infant, women's and family health. Through outreach, education, coordinated services, maternal depression screening and referrals, this program targets prenatal moms, newborns, and children up to 2 years old.

Services offered:

Prenatal care coordination services (PNCC)
Breastfeeding information and support
NEST incentive program

Criteria:

Native women pregnant or have children under 2 years old residing in Bayfield County
Non-Native women pregnant with Native babies living in Bayfield County
Any families with Native children under the age of 2 years old residing in their home in Bayfield County
