Elderly Nutrition Program

This program is a component of the Red Cliff Elderly Services program. This program strives to meet the nutritional needs of the elderly population by providing an opportunity for eligible participants with access to healthy meals, nutrition screening and education, and to provide a social outlet for folks to meet with their friends, learn and remain engaged in their community.

Services offered:

Nutrition services
Senior Dining and special gatherings
Home delivered meals (aka Meals on Wheels)

Criteria:

Age 55 for Tribal elders & 60 for non-Indian elders
Under 55 years and Disabled individual who resides with and accompanies meal recipient
Program volunteers

Home Delivered Meals: Available for Elders who are physically unable to attend because they are unable to leave their home without great difficulty

Ø Priority given to older adults with greatest economic and/or social needs
