Boozhoo and Welcome to the Family Services Home page.
Our Mission is: "To work collaboratively with compassion in providing a broad range of quality of life enhancing services to our tribal families, from Cradle to grave."
Programs within the Family Services Division are most effective when they are used in combination with those housed in other divisions to support wellness. For example, a family receiving income, education, mental or health care services such as general assistance, temporary aid to needy families, or energy assistance may be battling barriers that effect how well they can use that assistance. Issues such as family violence, lack of parenting skills, the need for short-term placement of a child, or having to care for an elderly family member may keep them from being able to fully receive the benefits of the basic program.
The programs in the Family Services Division can assist in supporting the objectives of all programs, improve the lives of individuals and strengthen families. Below is a brief description of programs within the Family Services Division.
