Elections for the Tribal Council take place yearly in July. The elections are staggered so that the entire council cannot be replaced at once. In odd years, there is an election for the Chairman, the Secretary, and three council members. In even years, there is an election for the Vice Chairman, the Treasurer, and two council members.
