Program Name: Income Maintenance Program

Program Description:

The mission of the Department of Human Services Income Maintenance Administration (IMA) is to determine the eligibility of applicants and to recertify the eligibility of recipients for federal and District-funded assistance programs.

IMA determines eligibility for benefits under Medicaid, DC HealthCare Alliance (Alliance), Food Share, Burial Assistance, Interim Disability Assistance and Refugee Cash Assistance programs and Food Share Employment and Training Program (FSET).
